If you have majored in psychology while pursuing under-graduation and taken upper-level courses in the area of psychology then it is definitely a plus point. However it is not essential for getting admission. An undergraduate with solid training in natural sciences logic and mathematics can also act as a great advantage even if you have not majored in psychology.
