Each promotion should be entered as a NEW entry with an update on the job title and focus on additional accomplishments and responsibilities. Functional Resume Format focuses on highlighting your skills accomplishments and experience with little or no attention to specific dates. It emphasizes your skills and/or functions that are directly related to the job qualifications. It is a good resume for career changers graduates and new people entering the job market. It is not as popular with employers as gaps in employment are not as noticeable. The Combination Resume Format is just what it sounds like. It is a combination of whats good about a chronological and functional resume molded together to present your skills & qualifications to an employer. This format works very well for many job seekers and is gaining in popularity among employers. So remember when looking for free resume formats Keep It Simple and boil it down to the three mentioned above to structure your winning resume.
